ABOUT KELLIE

Horses have always been a part of Kellie’s life, shaping her from the very beginning. Raised on remote sheep and cattle stations in Queensland, Kellie grew up surrounded by the rhythms of rural life and the values that come with it. Her parents’ dedication to their Quarter Horse Stud and their success with Thoroughbreds on the country racing circuit provided a strong foundation, but it was the everyday moments—early mornings in the saddle, quiet afternoons in the stables—that truly defined her journey.

Along with country racing, Kellie’s family competed in Campdrafting, Polocrosse, Barrel Racing & Gymkhanas, and she was fortunate to learn from their example. Yet, despite these achievements, Kellie remains grounded by the lessons horses have taught her: patience, respect, and the importance of always being willing to learn. Some of her fondest memories are simple ones—finding focus while doing homework beside her horse Pudge, or feeling at peace just being in the company of horses.

Kellie is proud of her roots and grateful for the opportunities she’s had, but she believes there is always more to discover. Her approach is shaped by a genuine love for horses and a commitment to sharing that passion with others, always with humility and an open mind.

Barrel Racing & Horsemanship Clinics

My Clinic has been designed in such a way that it is suitable for all horse & rider levels & ages. From the gritty rodeo competitor, to the beginner still working out the pattern, this clinic will give you the tools to keep yourself & your horse sound minded, running pretty & correct patterns, & the tools to keep your horse working correctly & running smoothly. You will be treated as an individual at this clinic. Everyone is on their own journey, & everyone takes their journey at their own pace. This clinic is not about hard and fast, it is about control, correct & understanding your horse.

Coaching, Mentoring & General Lessons

We offer coaching, mentoring & general riding lessons - for people of all ages. The primary focus is safety with horses, correct & confident horsemanship & confident riders. You will be taught everything from the ground up. 

Worried about being too far away? No worries! We have a large variety of opitions we can offer through todays technology to assist you via correspondence. 

If you are near by & you have your own horse, you are welcome to bring he or she and work together. We can supply horses for those that are still looking for their unicorn.

Yearling and Foal Handling

We offer Yearling handling & ground work to teach your youngster the important basics, before he or she is broken in. This includes (but not limited to) leading, floating, rugging, lunging, standing tied and feet trimming.

8 Week Conditioning Program

The 8 Week Conditioning Program has been designed to turn pot bellied grass eaters into athletic performance horses. Our feeding & training programs are altered to suit every individuals needs. We encourage owners to make visitations to their horse during its stay. We feel as the client it is important that you are happy with your horses progression. At the end of the 6 weeks your horse will be ready for competition.

Horse Sale Preparation

We offer a wide variety of training & conditioning for your horse, pending your needs and/or requirements. Every horse has its own individual feeding, conditioning  & training program. 

If your horse is heading to the sale ring, you can bet he or she will be the best looking well mannered horse at the sale. We aim to assist our clients sell the right horse to the right home. Genuine sales need only apply!

Barrel Horse Campaigning

We now campaign Stallions, Mares & Geldings for people ready to advertise their horses out on the circuit. Your horse will have VIP treatment whilst they are being campaigned. 

If your stallion is with us, he is extremely welcome to stand here, providing he is a gentleman. Our perferred Veterinarian travels to us & can offer services such as Artificial Insemination. We encourage clients to visit their horses as much as possible.
